Here is an images of the riverside penstock taken from the downstream end looking upstream 129 feet. The square of light is the pressure relief pad for the penstock gate.

Historic Images We Came Across

These are the drawings of the existing Rodney Hunt Type 80 which was moved from Maine and installed at the Tannery in 1937. Rodney Hunt was located in Orange Massachusetts and the old house and test room continued to be occupied by hydro enthusiasts.

The hydroelectric unit was installed to replace two McCormick waterwheels manufacturer in Massachusetts.
